2015 International Auto Show.

Press day coverage at the 2015 New York International Auto Show.

Our second year attending the auto show on press days in lovely NYC. All we can say is awesome. From unveiling of new cars not seen by many, to sampling of some fine aged bourbon. This year there was quite a few new exciting cars to be seen. A couple of our favorites being the new Honda Civic concept, Ford’s GT40 and most importantly Toyota’s FT-1 concept. This year we managed to catch a glimpse of a couple familiar faces such as Bucky Lasek and Chris Harris.
Riley with Bucky Lasek. Awesome dude and pretty down to earth. Even gave him a proper pocket tee!
Collin with Chris Harris. You may seen him on youtube in one of his videos “Chris Harris on cars”. A passionate enthusiastic car guy that drives and reviews cars only you and I can dream about.

Superstreet’s own Scion FRS flown straight from LA.

The new Civic concept was quite exciting as it was first time released at the show in New York. Honda is equipping some turbos onto the engines of its new concept economy car. A 1.5-liter 4-cylinder around 200-horsepower strapped to a 6 speed manual transmission. We are truly excited for the return of the type-r to the US.

Toyota has brought upon us the FT-1 to likely replace the once remembered legend, the Supra. As it sits, its still a concept. This time at the NYIAS with some new changes. The more changes an automaker makes to its concepts and the longer they keep them around, the higher the chance of receiving a production version. So far nothing has been released about its confirmation.

The new Subaru STI concept has everything you want. Wheels, fender flares and a wing.
As the STI is most popular in the US, it has been confirmed that it will be released in a non turbo version for us in the states.

The Aston Martin Vulcan. A track only supercar producing 800 plus horsepower with its aggressive naturally aspirated v12.

The Mclaren P1 GTR racecar.

A good day is often finished off with great beer. We grabbed some rooftop brews at the Birerra on 23rd st.
